As an aside, Christ the ears/nose/glasses were a pain in the ass. They were all part of the same assembly, so they all went on and off together, but… well… you try wearing a rubber nose and giant fake ears all day. Particularly when the hair spray you used to make your hair grey gets all sticky and basically glues the fugging things to your real ears.
On the last day of Sakura-Con last year, I went as a Left 4 Dead Hunter so I had fake blood all over my face all day. (I applied it under my eyes and it sort of dribbled down. Plus I had some near my mouth.) It was kind of itchy, but more to the point, when I tried to scrub it off in a bathroom post-con so the border guards wouldn’t completely flip out, IT WOULDN’T COME OFF. Not all the way. I was left with pink trails on my face for days afterwards. Either it stained really badly or it gave me a rash, I’m really not sure. (My skin was a bit dry and itchy while it went back to normal, too.)
